XV Tuner Compatibility Guide
Check which Aprilia models work with the XV Tuner cable and whether your bike needs an adapter.

ECU-C vs ECU-G — how to tell which one you have
ECU-C (Walbro)
The original ECU used in all SXV models and early RXV models (2006–2009). This is the ECU the XV Tuner cable was originally designed for.
How to identify: The ECU-C has a single large connector with 2 rows of pins. The label on the ECU casing typically reads "Walbro" or has a Walbro part number. Located under the seat, bolted to the frame.
XV Tuner support: Full support with the standard cable — no adapter needed.
ECU-G
The newer ECU used in later RXV models (2010+) and all MXV models. Different connector pinout from the ECU-C.
How to identify: The ECU-G has a different connector shape — typically smaller with a different pin arrangement. Check your bike's year and model: if it's an RXV from 2010 or later, or any MXV, it almost certainly has ECU-G.
XV Tuner support: Requires an adapter cable between the XV Tuner cable and the ECU-G connector. Contact us at support@xvtuner.com to request the adapter.
