What is the XV Tuner Cable and how does it work?
The XV Tuner Cable is a USB interface that connects your Aprilia's ECU to a PC. Once connected, the XV Tuner software lets you flash maps, adjust parameters, read diagnostics, and more — all operations that normally require a visit to an authorized Aprilia service center.
Which Aprilia models are compatible?
All SXV 450/550, RXV 450/550 (2006–2009 with ECU-C), and MXV 450/550 models. Later RXV and all MXV models with ECU-G require an adapter. Contact us if you're unsure about your ECU type.
What software and maps are included?
You get XV Tuner V1 and V2 Beta, RomRaider for custom map editing, 50+ race maps from AliceRacing, Akrapovic, Arrow, Silmotor and others, plus a user guide in English and Italian, the engine service manual, and spare parts catalogue.
What's the difference between V2 and V3?
V3 is a completely new product — new cable hardware and new software built from scratch. It is not compatible with V2. If you need tuning now, V2 is the proven solution available today.
Can the XV Tuner cable brick my ECU?
With V2 software, there's always some risk when writing to an ECU. Follow the user guide carefully, ensure your battery is fully charged, and don't disconnect during a write. V3 (coming soon) adds automatic backup and recovery features that virtually eliminate brick risk.
How long does shipping take?
All orders ship worldwide with tracking. Europe: 1–2 weeks. North America: 2–3 weeks. Rest of world: up to 3 weeks.
Do you offer returns?
Due to the specialized nature of motorsport electronics products, we do not offer returns on functional goods. If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately — we'll replace it under our 12-month warranty.
